Secretary Gale hosts statehood birthday parties

 

Some 3,300 elementary school students attended 10 Nebraska statehood birthday parties throughout the state. The parties were sponsored by Secretary Gale, the NEBRASKAland Foundation and the Nebraska Humanities Council. The parties were held in Omaha, Boys Town, Sidney, Scottsbluff, McCook, Kearney, Fremont, Seward, Columbus and Norfolk. Gale, portraying Cactus Jack, is pictured at the Sidney party.
