Secretary Gale honored the Omaha World-Herald with the Secretary of State’s Civics Recognition Award for the newspaper’s comprehensive and balanced coverage of the recall attempt against Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle. Gale presented the award at a May 24 ceremony at the World-Herald. Gale (left) presents the award to Terry Kroeger, president and publisher of the World-Herald.
