Gale has busy schedule during North Platte trip

 

While in North Platte from June 15-18, Secretary Gale maintained a busy schedule. Gale hosted Martin Rouine, consul general of Ireland in Chicago, and his wife, Mary, and participated in Nebraskaland Days events. Martin Rouine received the Cody Scout Award from North Platte Mayor Marc Kaschke. Pictured at the June 16 presentation ceremony are (from left) Gale, Kaschke, Rouine and state Sen. While in North Platte from June 15-18, Secretary Gale maintained a busy schedule. Secretary Gale (right) talks with Lt. Cmdr. Ben Grant of the Blue Crew of the USS Nebraska, a Trident nuclear submarine, prior to the Nebraskaland Days parade on June 18. Gale presented an honorary Nebraska citizenship certificate to the Blue Crew at a luncheon prior to the parade.  Gale and his wife, Carol, rode in a car in the parade.
