A ribbon cutting was held October 2 for the $28 million dollar, state of the art Nebraska Military Department’s Joint Force headquarters in Lincoln. Thirteen years from concept to completion, this building will serve as home to more than 360 employees from the Nebraska National Guard, Nebraska Emergency Management Agency and State Patrol Dispatch. Secretary Gale participated in the event.

At the program students display their art, perform music, present poems and other special readings.
