Fremont High School hosts Veterans Day assembly

More than 200 schools took part in the November 2012 Honor a Veteran Program sponsored by the Secretary of State’s office. Schools across Nebraska are encouraged to host an event that honors local veterans in their community.
There are templates available on the Secretary of State’s website for hosting a program, as well information on how to find an available speaker.
Eagle Scouts post the colors during the Veterans Day assembly at Fremont High School.
The senior Girls’ Choir performs their rendition of “America”.
High School Symphonic Band performed the “National Anthem”.
School displayed flags for each branch of the military and one for MIA/POW’s.
