More than 260 YES participants from 27 counties worked over 1,460 hours at the polls during the 2012 primary and general elections. YES is a program designed to increase interest and involvement in the election system among youth ages 14-18. Twenty students were awarded $50 savings bonds courtesy of the Nebraska Bankers Association.
