Sec. Gale met with seven international air cadets on July 30. The cadets are part of a multi-nation Air Cadet Exchange. The program promotes international understanding, goodwill, and fellowship as well as an awareness of air flight from gliders to supersonic planes.

During their time here, they stayed with Nebraska families. Their Nebraska host is Lt. Col. Karl Eisbach, Nebraska Wing Civil Air Patrol.

Sec. Gale made the cadets honorary citizens of Nebraska and shared lapel pins with them.
