International visitors made honorary citizens of Nebraska

The Secretary of State's office made six international visitors honorary citizens of Nebraska on Monday. They are (left to right): Javier Dorado, Spain; Felipe Castro Arenas, Colombia; Yaa Asantewaa Asante; Aderito Do Rosario, Timor-Leste; Styliani Zoi Makrantonaki, Greece; Wei Gao, People's Republic of China.

The Secretary of State's office made six international visitors honorary citizens of Nebraska on Monday. They are (left to right): Javier Dorado, Spain; Felipe Castro Arenas, Colombia; Yaa Asantewaa Asante; Aderito Do Rosario, Timor-Leste; Styliani Zoi Makrantonaki, Greece; Wei Gao, People's Republic of China.

The group has been in Nebraska since Thursday. On Monday, they enjoyed lunch at the Governor's Residence and toured the State Capitol. They were hosted by members of the Lincoln Council for International Visitors.
