Sec. Gale swears in Heidemann as Lieutenant Governor

Former state senator Lavon Heidemann was sworn in Wednesday afternoon to replace Rick Sheehy as Nebraska’s lieutenant governor. Heidemann has resigned his post on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. He was elected to the board this past fall.

Back Secretary of State John Gale administered the oath to Heidemann in the governor’s hearing room.
