Sec. Gale presents Civics Recognition Award to KOLN/KGIN on February 7, 2013. The Secretary of State’s office has presented this award since 2008. The other winners for the 2012 awards were The Lincoln Journal Star & Nebraska Radio Network.

Anchors, reporters and other members of the 10/11 news team were on hand for the in-studio award presentation.

Gale stressed to the KOLN/KGIN news team the importance of educating Nebraska voters about the election process.
