Group of Canadians in Lincoln to learn about Keystone Pipeline

Secretary Gale met with a group of five Canadians and their escort on April 3 in the Wherry Room of the State Capitol. The participants, brought to Nebraska as part of the Mayor’s Committee for International Friendship were here as part of a program focused on fostering trade between Nebraska and Canada. Additionally, members wanted to learn more about the issues surrounding development of the Keystone Pipeline in Nebraska.

At the end of the visit, Sec. Gale made them honorary citizens of Nebraska.
