Visitors from the Ukraine meet with Sec. Gale

Sec. Gale welcomed six young women from the Ukraine to Nebraska. During the visit he explained the different branches of state government, identified the executive offices, and the duties associated with being Sec. of State. Sec. Gale presented each visitor with an honorary citizenship and a pin representing his office.

The Secretary of State's office receives around 200-250 visitors every year. Among this particular group, participants had a background in law, journalism and legislative and government policy.
