LLC Filing Tips
Tips for filing your LLC under the new uniform act:
- The document to form a Limited Liability Company (LLC) is now called a Certificate of Organization (previously referred to as Articles of Organization).
- You must provide the street and mailing address of the Designated Office. The Designated Office must be located in Nebraska (it does not need to be a place
of business activity in the state). The address of the Principal Office is no longer required.
- In addition to the Designated Office, the Certificate of Organization must also contain the name and address of the agent for service of process.
